I purchased a vanilla gift card for a friend, but she has had trouble using it at Walmart three times, resulting in declined transactions. When I attempted to use it myself, I also encountered the same issue. Even smaller denomination cards are not functioning at Walmart. It's perplexing that Walmart sells these cards that seem to be incompatible with their own store. I'm frustrated with this experience and feel that if these cards don't work, a refund without any fees should be offered. Alternatively, customers should be advised not to use these cards at Walmart. Even the cashier could not get the cards to work after trying.

I bought a Vanilla gift card for $[redacted] on 12/17/[redacted]. However, when I tried to use it at Gentlemen's Closet on March 8, [redacted], it kept declining. Even though VanillaGift.com showed the balance as $[redacted], the store said otherwise. I paid with cash and later confirmed the balance was still $[redacted]. On March 9, I called customer service to address the issue of the card declining. I was shocked to discover that an unauthorized transaction of $[redacted] was made on March 9 at 7:17 PM, despite having the card with me all along. I was advised to check the online transaction details. I plan to contact VanillaGift.com for a refund, but this incident has made me wary of purchasing gift cards in the future.

Hi, I placed an order on January 29th for $68.73, but I never received the item. After contacting the merchant, they informed me that the item was lost, and they issued a refund. However, I have not received the refund on my Vanilla Visa gift card. I have waited for several business days, but the refund has not appeared. I purchased a gift card at Dollar General on April 4th and activated it on April 5th. However, when I tried to use it, the balance was gone. I made a purchase online for $26, even though the card was worth $40. After contacting Visa, they mentioned that $13 was used to buy cosmetics through PayPal, but I did not authorize this transaction. I suspect someone may have taken a photo of the card numbers. I have only bought one other gift card and am concerned that the Dollar General employee might be involved. I would like to track where the $13 was spent and at what time to verify.

I am from St. Louis, MO, and for Mother's Day, I received a $50 Vanilla Visa gift card. I used it for the first time last Friday and spent $18. When I tried to use it again, it was declined. I received a package containing three Vanilla Prepaid gift cards valued at $25 each. One card worked successfully, but the other two did not. After contacting customer service and enduring long wait times on hold, they promised to send me a replacement card for $25 and reactivate the other one. I have activated the new $25 card, but the second card is still displaying "pending" transactions that have not gone through. I am simply looking to access my funds. Kindly send another gift card to replace the one with the "pending" issue.

I visited a Shell Station to purchase $25 worth of gas using a Visa Vanilla gift card.
