Subsequently, when attempting to use the card again, I encountered difficulties even though the balance should have been sufficient. Following several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to contact customer service provided on the back of the card. However, only the security code was declined during the call. I then borrowed a friend's card to reach out to customer service, but the call was disconnected, possibly by the service or accidentally by me. When trying to call my friend back, the call was declined, leading me to seek assistance here.

Despite having the receipt and a separate sheet confirming the purchase, I encountered issues when trying to use the card. I have been waiting for over 2 months for a $[redacted] refund that was taken from my debit card without my authorization. The money was given to the clerk at a store, and despite submitting all required documents and proof, I have yet to receive the refund back to my original card. I bought three Vanilla Visa gift cards, each worth $[redacted], from Walgreens. I used two of the cards for small purchases, leaving each with over $[redacted], and I hadn't touched the third one with $[redacted]. Three days later, all three cards were declined when I tried to use them. When I checked the balances online, I kept getting an error message and couldn't see the balances. I believe my gift card information has been compromised. Despite my attempts to contact various customer service numbers before the funds were depleted, I was continuously disconnected. After hours of trying, I ultimately lost all the money on the card. I reached out to multiple numbers, endured long hold times, and even encountered errors after making a purchase. Unfortunately, I couldn't prevent the unauthorized activity, leading to a loss of $[redacted]. I am seeking a refund for the full amount as soon as possible.

I received a Vanilla Visa Gift Card last Christmas and tried to use it today. However, upon opening the card and attempting the transaction, it was declined. The Vanilla Visa website to check the balance was not functioning, and when I called the number on the back of the card, the automated system indicated that the full amount had been used before I received it. Hello, I recently received a $[redacted] Prepaid Vanilla Visa gift card from Walmart. I paid an activation fee of $7.95 on Friday. My friend, who provided the gift card along with a Walmart receipt as proof, usually gives me similar gifts for Christmas and my birthday without any issues. This time, unfortunately, I am encountering a problem using the card. The handwritten security code on the back is causing difficulties as I have never encountered this before. I have tried numerous times to reach out to Vanilla via phone and their website, but every time I am prompted to provide the card number, expiration date, and security number, I get stuck at the security number part. Good afternoon, On Friday, November 25th, I made a purchase of $98.98 at sackfifthavenue.com using a Vanilla Gift Card with a $[redacted] balance (Card No. 4[redacted] 1[redacted], expiry 10/28). I did not receive an order number but got a pending message at 7:21 pm due to a negative balance issue. To secure the purchase, I used another card (No. 4[redacted] 8[redacted], expiry 05/30), which also faced a similar problem of balance deduction without a successful transaction. Even though Sacks claims no record of these transactions, both cards were charged, and I urge a review of the balances and a reversal of the transactions. Awaiting your guidance. Best regards,

On December 11, [redacted], I bought a $[redacted] prepaid Vanilla card from my local store and used it to make an $80 online purchase at a record store. The next day, when I tried to make a purchase on Amazon, my card was declined, and my transactions were marked as "pending dispute." After a frustrating 2-hour call with Vanilla customer service, they informed me of a $87.43 charge to Passions.com that was causing the issue. Despite my assertion that it was a fraudulent charge and Vanilla's responsibility to resolve, they initially directed me to the store where I bought the card. Refusing to wait eight days for a settlement, I insisted we resolve it immediately. The situation remains unresolved, but on the bright side, I did manage to learn how to play the on-hold song on guitar while waiting.

I received a Vanilla Prepaid Visa from my father for Christmas. Unfortunately, the Walmart clerk didn't activate the card. I have been in touch with Vanilla over the phone, but they keep hanging up on me after hours of trying to resolve the issue. I'm feeling very frustrated and getting nowhere. Considering recent scams involving fraudulent charges appearing as Google purchases, I suspect Vanilla Visa may be involved in deceptive practices. Moreover, my experience with a Vanilla Visa gift card, which arrived with obscured digits and required cumbersome reporting and replacement processes due to being deemed "stolen," has been exceptionally troublesome. This, coupled with disturbing reviews exposing a pattern of scamming and fund mismanagement by Vanilla Visa, has left me thoroughly dissatisfied and concerned about the security of my funds.

I purchased a prepaid Vanilla Visa card on January 5th to pay my lot rent, as my landlord only accepts online payments and I prefer not to use my personal bank account or card. However, when I try to link the card to various accounts, I receive error messages stating "unusual activity" or "invalid card." I received a Vanilla gift card for Christmas. Initially, I used it for an online order I later decided to cancel to buy the item in-store. I had to wait for the in-person refund. After the funds were returned to the card, I confirmed the balance was correct. Subsequently, I used the card for another purchase without issues. However, I received an email from the company stating there were insufficient funds on my card, which is confusing as I had already verified the refund. Now, my card account is inaccessible, and the card number is showing as invalid.

I recently made a purchase on Walmart.com with a Vanilla Visa card. Unfortunately, the item didn't work, so I returned it to a store. I accidentally threw away the card and requested store credit, but they couldn't provide it as the purchase was made online. After contacting Walmart.com, they mentioned they would issue a check if the refund fails twice due to it being a prepaid Visa. Surprisingly, the refund went through to the card I no longer have. I possess the 16-digit card number but not the CVV code. Walmart offered to conference call with both myself and Vanilla Visa to request them to fail the refund so that a check can be issued, but I am unable to reach Vanilla Visa without the CVV code.
