My grandson was given an account for a kid's game. The owner of the account, with the email [redacted] and the gamer tag bbg skid, made unauthorized purchases using my card. After contacting the kid through email, he admitted it was his email but claimed he did not make the purchases. He mentioned someone else might have used it. I only authorized a $1.97 payment for 3 months. When I reached out for help, the person I spoke to yesterday hung up on me while I tried to explain the situation. Since then, I've been attempting to resolve this issue starting yesterday when my bank alerted me to multiple charges, some of which were declined. I believe the kid is allowing others to use his email to steal information. I noticed my card information was taken when I attempted to access my account to remove details.

I mistakenly bought a $50 item instead of a $2 one. When I requested a refund, I was told I reached the maximum allowed refunds. However, the prior two refund requests were due to unsuccessful purchases of Robux in a game, where we received no items. We were forced to exit the game and repurchase from the main menu. It's frustrating that these incidents, caused by errors in the game, counted towards our refund limit. I'm struggling to get in touch with someone to resolve this unfair situation.

I have forgotten the login details for my long-standing gamer tag and do not wish to create a new one. While offline, my account signs in automatically, but once I connect to the internet, it prompts me for a password. I have attempted the online steps to recover the account, but I have been unsuccessful in updating my phone number, which is no longer in service. This situation is causing me a lot of frustration as I am reluctant to lose all my progress by starting anew.

My son owns an Xbox One. However, when he tried to sign back into his account, he was unable to do so because of suspected suspicious activity. Despite his efforts to reset the password, he couldn't proceed because the phone number linked to the account is outdated. This has left him unable to access his account, which is concerning as he received new games for Christmas. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you, Charlie.

I bought Star Wars Starfighter, but it's not working. I received help from a colleague who claimed the game was bought on a different account, which is not possible as I have only one account. Following their instructions, my account settings changed, and I lost all purchases from the Microsoft store and cannot access downloaded games. Customer service has been unhelpful, repeatedly ending calls saying they can't hear me. I am extremely frustrated with this situation.

I am extremely frustrated with the barriers to contacting you. It is unprofessional and very irritating. Additionally, I am unable to play local zombies with two players on Cold War. I face a lot of difficulties signing in, even as a guest, and then cannot play the game. This process is excessively complicated. I plan to escalate this matter to corporate. Why can't I simply connect a second controller and play the game without all this unnecessary hassle? I am playing a game, not opening a bank account.

I recently purchased Call Of Duty: WWII from a local game store. I encountered an issue while trying to download the base game as it stalled at 29.6%. Despite troubleshooting by power cycling the console, disconnecting it from power, and cleaning the disc to no avail, the download only reached 40.4% before stopping again. I ensured that the disc had no visible scratches and was offline to prioritize the base game download over updates. Unfortunately, my slow wifi speed and lack of an ethernet connection mean the download would take days. Cancelling the update multiple times did not improve the download progress. I am reluctant to clear local save data as I primarily play offline and don't want to risk losing my own or my friends' game data. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Zayn

I was charged a late fee for something I never meant to agree to in the first place. I was misled into continuously subscribing to Game Pass without my knowledge, resulting in a $16 late fee. I received a three-month Game Pass Ultimate gift from a friend but can't access it due to the late fee. I'm not asking for anything free, but I want the late fee removed so I can enjoy the gift. I've been a loyal Xbox supporter for years and feel deceived by Microsoft's tactics, making me feel like my money was taken unfairly.

Hello, I have been struggling for a week trying to sign into my Xbox account. It holds significant value to me as it contains years of investments. I've forgotten the password for my [redacted] account and to recover it, I need to remember the password for my [redacted], which I haven't used for years. The recovery email for my yahoo account is [redacted], an email I didn't even realize I had. Since I can't recover any of these emails, I fear I've lost 20 years of progress and money on Xbox. I am willing to provide any necessary information, including account numbers, addresses, and social security codes, but the automated responses asking for more information are not helpful. I am unsure of what is needed and how to speak to a person about this issue. Could someone please assist me?

I requested a refund for a game that ran extremely poorly, with a framerate below 15 and dropping to 2 or 3 frequently. Despite selecting "game runs poorly" as the reason, they denied the refund, claiming they don't refund played digital games. It's frustrating because how else would I know if it runs poorly without playing it? Their refund policy doesn't mention this restriction for digital games. I've emailed them multiple times citing their terms and the Consumer Rights Act [redacted], which supports my refund request. However, they have now stopped responding altogether, ignoring my messages.

I'm frustrated with the reputation system on Xbox Live. This is the third time I have to play World of Tanks to improve my reputation. I pay for Xbox Live Gold, so why am I being blocked from my games? I understand the system, but it's frustrating when I get reported unfairly. I report harassers, but if I beat them in the game, they report me back. It feels unfair. Could you please explain what can be done? I'm considering switching to PlayStation after being a loyal Xbox customer for years. My patience is running out.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the reputation system in place. It's the third time I've had to engage in unrelated games just to improve my standing to access the games I actually enjoy. Despite my Xbox Live Gold subscription, I am still blocked from playing. I comprehend the system, but the issue arises when I face harassment in games and then get reported when I stand my ground or perform well. This feels unjust. I abide by the rules and excel at these games, which seems to provoke others. The current situation is disheartening. Can you clarify the actions you can take? I am contemplating switching to PlayStation due to this ongoing problem. I have been a loyal customer for years, but my frustration has reached its peak. It seems unreasonable that anyone can report me without cause, affecting my gaming experience. Aren't games meant to have predefined rules within the game itself? For example, in a game like Battlefield 4, winning and fighting the opposing team should be the primary objective. I believe I deserve a reputation reset to rectify this matter. Otherwise, I am seriously considering moving to PlayStation for future gaming.

I purchased Call of Duty: Cold War for €99.99. After not playing it for a while, I tried to play again, but it asks me to buy it again since the trial period is over. I couldn't find any contact numbers for support, so I'm reaching out for help. If I have to buy the game again just to play, I would like to get my money back and spend it on games that don't try to scam me! Sincerely, Marian P. Hello, I am a player on Xbox with the gamertag Ttg xganjaa [redacted]. While playing Call of Duty last night, I was unexpectedly switched to my other Xbox. Upon returning, I realized my display name had been changed from ganjaa to REX. Furthermore, my account alias was altered from [redacted] to another email address partially masked by the Microsoft support team. I have invested a significant amount of time and money into this account over the years. Losing access to it is incredibly inconvenient given the extensive collection of games and content. I am seeking a resolution to this issue and can provide any necessary information to verify my identity. Thank you.

Hello, My name is Lois Kisner. I have been caring for the elderly for the last 6 months in full PPE on a COVID unit. I am not very tech-savvy, so I am reaching out for assistance with some unauthorized charges on my account. Over the period from 8/15/[redacted] to 01/04/[redacted], I have noticed numerous charges totaling $1,[redacted].28 from Microsoft*Xbox/MSBILL.INFO, Microsoft*Xbox Redmond, and Microsoft*Xbox. These charges are significant to me, equivalent to my rent for two months. My 14-year-old son, whose Xbox payments are made from child support, has an Xbox Live account and did have permission to buy V bucks. However, he claims he did not purchase the titles listed, and I am seeking help to secure a refund for these unauthorized transactions and guidance on preventing similar incidents in the future. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Lois Kisner

Hello, my name is Lois K. I have been taking care of the elderly for the last six months with full personal protective equipment on a COVID unit. I am not very tech-savvy, but I am hoping for assistance regarding my son's Xbox charges. There have been numerous charges on my account that I did not authorize dating from *** to *** totaling $1,[redacted]. My son, who is a minor, has his Xbox payment deducted from child support. I discovered these charges as I usually check the account every six months when I transfer the funds to his college fund. The charges are from Microsoft*Xbox*MSBILL.INFO and Microsoft*Xbox*Redmond among others. My son has permission to purchase V bucks but claims he did not order the specific titles mentioned. I urgently need help obtaining refunds for these unauthorized charges and advice on preventing this in the future. Thank you in advance for your assistance. - Lois K.

Hello, I'm Lois K. I've been caring for the elderly in full PPE for the past eight months on a COVID unit. I'm not very tech-savvy, but I'm hoping for assistance with unauthorized charges on my account. My son, who is in his teens, uses child support for his Xbox payments. Although my son has Xbox Live and permission to buy V-Bucks, he denies purchasing the titles listed. I have been playing Cold War since it was released after pre-ordering it. After the recent big update, I encountered an issue. Whenever I try to start the game, it says I'm accepting an invite for a game I haven't accepted, even though I never did. Following the suggestion to resolve this, I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall the game. However, now it stops installation and displays a message saying the item seems corrupt. Despite these errors, the game still takes up storage on my device. At this point, I'm more concerned about clearing space than playing the game. I have tried various solutions, but nothing has worked so far. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you for any suggestions you can provide.

Hello, I'm reaching out because I recently purchased what I thought was the Xbox Series X for over $[redacted] as a gift, only to realize later that it was the wrong version. I bought it from Walmart.com, but when I tried to return it, the store couldn't find it in their system. I contacted Walmart and even though I explained my situation, they referred me to their 15-day return policy. Despite my health challenges - epilepsy, lymphocytic colitis, emergency gallbladder surgery, and a liver disease - I really want to exchange the product for the correct one. My main goal is to provide my kids with something special, especially since my health issues have been overwhelming. I know I paid $[redacted].99 for the Xbox X, but I'm willing to cover the price difference for the Xbox Series X at $[redacted].99. I hope someone can assist me and understand my situation. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this.

I booted up my Xbox One last Sunday eager to dive back into a game, only to be greeted by a suspension notice preventing me from accessing Xbox Live. The reason provided mentioned harassment and threats towards other players, which was confusing as I solely play solo games with no recent player interactions. This suspension has locked me out of games dependent on Xbox Live, interrupting my gaming experience. After filing an appeal at enforcement.xbox.com, I received an email requesting more details. Curiously, when I contacted my brother in Ithaca, NY, who also uses an Xbox, I discovered that his account, as well as his family's accounts and others on his console, were also suspended. This appears to stem from my nephew's involvement in the social aspects of "Sea of Thieves," a game known for banter among players. Though I seek an explanation and the lifting of unjust suspensions, under these circumstances, refunds for affected Xbox subscription services seem only fair. The lack of warnings and the permanent nature of these suspensions have been distressing, leaving me feeling helpless against baseless accusations. Any guidance or assistance you can offer would be greatly valued.
