Following the McDonald's app instructions, I reached out to Uber Eats customer service. Unfortunately, the representative struggled with my email address, leading to a lack of communication regarding a full refund. I find this situation unacceptable, and I am deterred from using the McDonald's app in the future due to this unnecessary inconvenience in obtaining a refund. The order number is TE[redacted]66. My order did not arrive as expected. Despite requesting updates and diligently checking, it was marked as delivered two hours later than the estimated time. I placed the order around 5:30 a.m., and the service closed at 6 or 7 a.m. I stayed up past 7:30, trying to contact the vendor without success. The Uber-provided number for the restaurant, +44 7[redacted]27, was unresponsive both in the morning and when I called again. Even a WhatsApp message went unanswered. With the delivery supposed to take 10-30 minutes, the delay and lack of communication are frustrating. I have proof of attempted calls. It is disconcerting that after such a delay, the order was suddenly marked as delivered. I am requesting a prompt refund and urge a review of the vendors involved.

I ordered food for delivery to my flat, but the driver had trouble finding it. Despite my attempts to guide him, he drove past and then claimed the food was delivered. When I went downstairs, he was gone, and he ignored my calls. The app wouldn't issue a refund. This has happened before due to the difficulty of finding my flat, causing frustration for delivery drivers. Yesterday, I ordered Chinese takeout from Uber Eats. My delivery was delayed by almost 30 minutes and my order was incorrect. I used the app to report the late delivery and then the wrong food. Despite reaching out, I did not hear from Uber Eats or the restaurant. When I tried to follow up, all I got was a generic response asking me to wait for further assistance. It has been 24 hours, and I have not received any resolution. I did not eat the incorrectly made food, and I am frustrated about the $38 I spent on this order. It seems like they do not value their customers' satisfaction. They say good service is shared with a few, but bad service reaches many. Unfortunately, I have a large circle to share this experience with.

I recently ordered a salt and pepper box from a Chinese restaurant, but unfortunately, the ribs were severely undercooked. I couldn't eat the meal, and later that evening, I felt ill. Although Uber Eats is usually good at addressing problems and issuing refunds, I was surprised and disappointed to learn this morning that my request for a refund was denied. I have been attempting to update my address with my food delivery service. There have been issues as my house number was listed incorrectly, leading to confusion and missed deliveries. Last night, I placed an order for £15 at McDonald's, which included 4 items. Unfortunately, two of the items I received, a box of 9 chicken nuggets and cheese melt dippers, arrived cold and dry. Additionally, the sauces I requested were missing, as well as no tissues or salt and pepper. This affected my meal experience greatly as I couldn't enjoy the food without the sauces. When I tried to report these issues, I found it challenging to address multiple problems at once. The refund I received was only £4.79, but I believe that the cheese dippers should also be refunded as they were inedible due to being cold and dry without any accompanying sauce. I have also faced missing sauces in my past 2 orders, but refrained from complaining until now. This recurring issue has left me dissatisfied with the customer service provided.

I made an order on the app for Jasper's Restaurant in Canterbury. They canceled my order, but I was still charged. I spoke to them, and I was informed that I need to request a refund from Uber Eats since they had already started preparing my order. I recently had my order delivered to the wrong building. The driver seemed confused about the location, leaving it in a different building. After some back and forth, he mentioned he left it nearby and I could retrieve it, but I wasn't comfortable doing so. I ended up requesting a refund through the app. Hopefully, in the future, the delivery personnel can be more attentive to accurate drop-offs.

On Thursday, November 24th, [redacted], I placed an order on Uber Eats from Sainsbury's Elephant & Castle-Newington Butts (#0E127). Unfortunately, the driver delivered the wrong order and was unable to communicate in English. I asked him to return the incorrect items, but he never did. I reported the issue on the app with a photo as evidence but received no response. The store managers informed me that it is the responsibility of Uber Eats once the driver picks up the order. I have tried contacting various numbers but have had no luck. As a student, losing £27.30 is a significant amount for me. Hello, On November 12, [redacted], a purchase of €97.68 was made on Uber Eats at the McDonald's in Saint-Laurent-du-Var using account 6.[redacted]3 under the name of Rémy THEUS. This is for order D7E34. Upon delivery by Belgacem, only the beverages were provided, missing the main menu items. After contacting the driver, we were directed to address the issue on the app. Following a call to the restaurant, they acknowledged the mistake and advised us to contact Uber Eats. We promptly reported the problem through the app. Subsequently, we re-ordered the entire meal. To date, we have been charged twice for the transaction. It has been nearly three weeks since this incident, with no response from your end on the app. I am puzzled as a previous error was swiftly resolved in the past. Order 2441B under customer name Umar was delivered to Regal Crest Homes in Vaughan, Ontario. Unfortunately, the delivery driver left the order on the side-walk outside the building, resulting in a cold, wet, and possibly contaminated meal. To resolve this, the order number must be located to promptly refund Umar, including the tip. It's crucial to instruct delivery drivers to avoid leaving orders on the side-walks. Apologies and reimbursement are necessary for this mishap. Personally, I am cautious about using Uber due to incidents like this and always bring my own lunch to avoid such issues.

Hello, my name is Aroosa Ali. On Sunday, November 27th, I placed an order on Ubereats from Mc Donalds for a Fillet Fish Meal and 2 McFlurrys. Unfortunately, when my husband picked up the order, we realized it was incorrect as we received someone else's order. I contacted the Uber driver, who mentioned it was out of his hands and advised me to contact Mc Donalds. The restaurant, however, directed me back to Uber. I messaged Uber through the app with photos of the wrong order and receipt but was informed today, Tuesday, November 29th, that they are unable to provide a refund. I am disappointed as not only did I receive the wrong order, but the food I received was not suitable for me religiously as it was haraam. Hello, I wanted to report an issue with an order I placed where the delivery did not arrive. I used a promotion for $50 off my next two orders, but since the order was not completed, I expected to be able to apply the promo code to a reorder. However, I've since found out that I cannot reuse the promo code. I initially opted for an Uber Cash refund to proceed with a reorder, but now that I cannot use the promo code, I would like to inquire about getting the refund back to my original card instead. Today on 11/30, $5.71 was deducted from the Uber Cash, which I am unsure about as I did not receive the order and did not tip. I placed an order with UberEATS yesterday and I'm still waiting to hear from them. The delivery driver got lost and blamed it on not reading the GPS properly. The food was cold when it arrived at my apartment, not kept warm in a thermal bag. The address on the receipt was wrong, showing [redacted] instead of my correct address, [redacted] Ch de la Cote St. Luc. The driver ended up on the wrong side of a divided road.
