I have been a loyal customer of Rent A Center for a long time. I always make my payments on time, sometimes even early, and I have paid off a few accounts already. Recently, I moved to Casper, WY and decided to do a trade on my couches with Rent A Center again. I was given a delivery date of 10/27/[redacted] between 2 pm and 6 pm. I rearranged my schedule to be home for the delivery. Two days before the delivery, I updated my contact number at the store. On the day of the delivery, I called in the morning to confirm the time and contact number. Near 6 pm, I called again to check on the delivery and was told they had been trying to reach me but had the wrong number on file. Despite their assurances, the delivery was delayed, and I ended up waiting until 7:30 pm feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope Rent A Center can improve their communication and customer service in the future.

I contacted last Friday to schedule the pick-up of my stove. The initial call had me on hold for 10 minutes, prompting me to disconnect. After waiting 6 hours with no contact, I called back. I spoke to the same individual who was supposed to arrange for the stove to be picked up the following Monday. Today is Thursday, and the stove remains in my possession with no communication from the store. I am keen to have the stove collected as I continue to pay off my bed. My experience with Rent A Center has been disappointing, and I am considering other options.

Subject: Concern Regarding Recent Generator Purchase Rent-A-Center, Inc. Customer Service [redacted] Headquarters Dr. Plano, TX [redacted] I experienced an issue with my recent purchase of the FIRMAN [redacted] W Inverter Generator Whisper made on March 10. Despite a confusion with the delivery, this was sorted out in-store on March 23 with an agreement for delivery on the upcoming Saturday. The generator was brought on March 25, but unfortunately, it was a used unit without its box and kit. After discussing this with the delivery person, they assured me they would fetch the correct one from another store and deliver it. However, it is now April 7, nearly a month later, and I have yet to receive the item. This is my first negative experience with Rent-A-Center. Having been satisfied with previous purchases like a washing machine and dryer, I chose Rent a Center again for their reliable service. Given the urgent need for the generator due to power outages in our area, I request a refund and cancellation of the contract due to the prolonged delay. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Good morning, I have been trying to contact you but have had no success. I have been attempting to reach Regional Manager Mr. Márquez without any luck. I am trying to request a payment extension for my account which is 3 weeks behind. It has been IMPOSSIBLE with the store, as all the employees there have been disrespectful and discriminatory towards me. I have had issues with the Manager before, and now with the Collections Mr. I am going through a very complex crisis, both financially and health-wise. The store is disregarding the truth of the situation I am facing. The crisis I am going through is a CRISIS and cannot be resolved in a couple of days, or even a couple of weeks. That is why it's called a crisis. Hence, the URGENCY to communicate with a Regional Manager. I am willing to resolve this issue, and that's why I urgently need your support as the store is closing its doors to me. Please help me, thank you.

I had an unsettling encounter with an employee from Rent A Center due to payment delays. The employee showed up at my house and refused to leave until I paid. He remained parked in my driveway, making me feel uncomfortable and threatened. I do not plan on using Rent A Center again, especially the branch in Lafollette, TN. The manager there is aware of the situation and the employee's behavior. This individual even mistreated my grandson during the ordeal. Additionally, the employee visited my house after the payments were settled, claiming ignorance of the payment status. It seems like basic knowledge of payment updates should be part of his job before making house calls.

I am being charged for furniture that I have not received yet. I made the first payment to get the furniture, but the lady mentioned she still needed to finalize my information. Auto payments are being attempted despite me not having the furniture or a delivery date confirmed. I would like a refund for the initial payment as I have not received any furniture, or for them to redo the entire application process correctly.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my overdue account with Rent A Center. I have been in contact multiple times with the local DuBois, PA store to explain the reasons for my delayed monthly payment. I have spoken with two individuals consistently, keeping them updated on my situation. I informed them about the payment delay due to discovering fraudulent activity in my bank account before I could set up my preferred Auto Pay method. I assured them that once a cash deposit is made to my bank account, I will settle the account in full. Unfortunately, I am experiencing technical difficulties with receiving and replying to text messages regarding my account. An error prevents me from responding back to the Rent Center agent, displaying an orange exclamation point and failing to send my text reply. Despite these challenges, I am committed to resolving this issue promptly and also addressing the disruption caused by the fraud incident. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in sorting this out as soon as possible.

I'm concerned about the hold on the down payment for two products that I didn't purchase. When I was in an online chat, I was advised to contact someone at the rental center for a refund. I reached out to him yesterday, but haven't received a response yet. I need to know what is happening regarding my refund. Thank you.

I rented an item four days ago, and I was informed that I had to wait for the manager's wife, who works at Capriotti's, to pick up the PS5 and bring it to the store. Then, I could Uber to the 4th Day Fair location to collect it. I'm confused by this policy as she doesn't even work for Rent-A-Center. Wouldn't it be simpler for Rent-A-Center to fetch it from their other store and deliver it to me directly? The whole situation seems like a liability. Since they didn't receive the item from the manager's wife, I find myself shuttling back and forth to the store to get what I paid for. They won't even credit me for the days I didn't have it, claiming it's my fault because I could have gone to the location 60 minutes away instead.

I had a disappointing experience at Rent-A-Center on Las Vegas Blvd. The employee, Jennifer, was extremely rude. This behavior doesn't reflect the usual service Rent-A-Center provides. I am upset and disappointed by the way I was treated. Rent-A-Center's customer service has let me down. I rented an item 4 days ago and was told to wait until the manager's wife finishes work to pick it up and deliver it to the store for me to collect. This seemed unnecessary and inconvenient. Instead of having someone from another store deliver it, I had to go back and forth to get my item. Rent-A-Center refused to credit me for the days I couldn't use the item, blaming me for not choosing a store further away.

I am sharing order number #[redacted]5. I bought this piece of jewelry for a birthday party tomorrow. I selected in-store delivery assuming it was available, but later found out online that the jewelry is not stocked in-store and needs to be delivered. I tried to change my purchase in the store, but they couldn't locate my $[redacted] deposit on their system.
