During [redacted], I was unemployed for 9 months. I have contacted representatives more than 20 times in an attempt to receive unemployment benefits, but have not received any assistance. Initially denied for only working 18 weeks at my last job due to COVID, I want to highlight that in [redacted], I worked consistently as a consultant and interior designer for my own firm. A few months back, I was supposed to receive almost $15,[redacted], which now shows as $0 in my account. This has been incredibly frustrating as I depleted my life savings to get by during this challenging period. Although I am now employed again, the pay cut is substantial, and I am at risk of losing my apartment. At 53, the thought of being homeless is distressing. I believe I qualify for unemployment benefits, and I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

I currently have 2 accounts: one with the username [redacted] containing all my previous Unemployment information, and the other with the username daryl.johnson2010, which was created for my current claim but lacks my email address. The issue arises as I cannot update the new account with my email address since the system indicates it is already associated with another account. This situation hinders my ability to receive important correspondence related to my current claim. Ideally, I would like both accounts merged to retain all essential information. If merging is not possible, I would request the deletion of the old account under the username [redacted], allowing me to update the new account with my current email address, [redacted] Could you kindly assist me with this matter? My name is Tarrett Ricks, and my Claim #[redacted]75 was denied on appeal, which I disagree with. The dates mentioned for my unemployment claims were March 3, [redacted], through April 24, [redacted]. I did not file for May [redacted] because I was advised not to while my case was in appeal. I am requesting a phone conference to resolve the issue preventing me from receiving my backpay. Due to my work schedule from 7 am to 5 pm, I have been unable to call within your office hours.

I completed my form in March after being let go from my job following two years of employment. I also mentioned experiencing harassment, which I hadn't reported until facing a health scare. The company denies receiving my paperwork, claiming I was fired, which is untrue. I've been struggling financially without any income since and provided necessary documentation to prove my situation. Despite updating my address to 9 Arms Blvd, Apt. 6, Niles, Ohio, I continue to receive mail at my old address on Belle Terre Ave. I received conflicting instructions for submitting identification and faced challenges navigating the appeals process. During my time with my previous employer, I split my work between West Virginia and Ohio, despite staying in the same department. My employer changed the company handling my pay, leading to challenges with the wages I earned in West Virginia. The interstate claims department is now involved due to this wage discrepancy. Unfortunately, my employer failed to send the wages for both states I worked in, resulting in my claim being denied. I had to appeal this decision, only for the missed wages to be overlooked once again. After pointing this out, the appeal was reopened, yet it has been over a month since I filed and I am still waiting for my check. I am struggling to contact anyone about this issue, as I keep getting trapped in a cycle of scheduling callbacks with no resolution in sight.

I have been approved for unemployment benefits twice now, but it has been more than two months and I have not received any payment yet. The process seems to be taking longer than expected. I was laid off from my job, and even though I used my earned vacation time, unemployment still hasn't provided any assistance. It's frustrating to see friends who choose not to work receiving thousands of dollars in benefits while I, who have been actively working, have not received anything. I had to find a new job since getting dismissed for defending myself against the owner's attack. I would appreciate some clarity on why there has been a delay in disbursing my approved benefits.
