I suspect I have fallen victim to a scam involving Google Play cards. I received an email claiming that Pay Pal paid Netflix $[redacted] on my behalf, prompting me to report it as fraud. Following that, I was alerted to other suspicious Pay Pal charges. While they assured me they would address the fraudulent transactions, they required proof of my location. The request was to purchase 4 Google Play Cards at $[redacted] each from a store in Pittsfield, NH, to verify my location, with the promise of removing $[redacted] from my credit card. Despite receiving a text confirming payment of the $[redacted], the charges from China persisted unless I bought 3 more Google Play Cards, which my credit card company declined. Feeling certain that Pay Pal's instructions were misleading, I refused to proceed and contacted my credit card issuer.

I am having issues with the app not responding to several serious complaints. There is a user creating multiple fake accounts and making threatening posts about gang rape, murder, and violence. They have even shared personal information like phone numbers and are impersonating me, making alarming comments under my name and photo. Despite being aware of this, the app has taken no action. As the app is featured on your site, I believe you should put pressure on them to address the safety of their users, as you are indirectly responsible for their presence on Google Play. This is a critical issue that needs attention.

I have been trying for two weeks to get a refund for a $39.99 charge on my debit card. I immediately contacted Google when I saw the charge. I want to emphasize that I do not want this to be a recurring monthly charge. Despite my efforts, the Gmail address associated with the charge was not located. It is essential to locate and cancel this unwanted subscription. I am frustrated with the lack of progress and need this issue resolved promptly. If I am charged again, it will be extremely upsetting. Please find the account linked to this charge, cancel the subscription, and process my refund without further delay.

Recently, I have encountered issues with money-making apps where I have accumulated over $45,[redacted] but have not received payouts despite meeting all requirements. Withdrawals have been pending or failed, and some claimed funds were transferred to PayPal without any actual deposit. I have reached out to Amazon and PayPal for support but have not received satisfactory responses. These developers associated with well-known companies are seemingly engaged in fraudulent activities that involve stealing our account details and identity. They are unresponsive to emails, and despite engaging in various app activities, users like me end up empty-handed. I am requesting the owed funds for me and other honest customers who have been victims of these scams, seeking compensation for the time wasted.

Hi Annie Rivière, I recently received the following email and I am unsure about the product associated with this payment request. Additionally, I updated my credit card information in October [redacted], so I am confused as to why my old card details are still being referenced. I would appreciate clarification on this matter. Thank you, Annie Rivière

I'm experiencing a minor issue with Google Play on my Samsung A51. The Play app is updated to the latest version, and I have around [redacted] apps installed. I manually update them based on the Play Store list. However, I've noticed that only two apps, Nextdoor and CNN, are successfully installed on my device but are not listed in the Play Store. Despite reinstalling them multiple times, they seem to be the only ones not appearing in the Play Store. I've tried contacting support via email, but their responses haven't addressed this specific concern. I'm puzzled as to why only these two apps are not listed while all others work properly on my device.

I recently fell victim to a scam involving a person falsely claiming to be an eBay employee. They instructed me to buy two $[redacted] eBay cards, but the store didn't carry them. The scammer suggested Google Play cards instead since they are supposedly affiliated with eBay. After buying the Google Play cards, I was informed they were unreadable and needed to buy two more at $[redacted] each. When I questioned this, I discovered they had already spent the money from the first two cards. Realizing the deceit, I demanded a refund, but they disconnected the call. I seek guidance on refunding my second set of unused cards, totaling $[redacted]. I'm relieved the scam only amounted to $[redacted] instead of $[redacted]. Can someone advise me on how to rectify this situation?

I recently encountered an issue with my Google Play account. A friend helped me make a purchase, which has now been restricted. I have been a Google Play user for years without any problems until now. I am unable to load a $35 card that I purchased and loaded. I play "Road to Survival" - "The Walking Dead" - and over 12,[redacted] coins were deducted from my account. This is incorrect; approximately 4,[redacted] coins were taken, leaving me with a negative balance of 9,[redacted] coins. I request the coins to be reinstated and the ability to load my card as usual. After a motorcycle accident in Florida that landed me in the hospital for the last 17 days, losing all my belongings, including my wallet, ID, credit cards, and cash, playing the game has been my solace. Due to the coins being deducted wrongly, I am unable to make in-game purchases that I have been saving up for over 8 months. Replacing the coins wrongfully deducted would cost me over $[redacted]. I kindly ask for a resolution to this matter. Thank you.

A few weeks back, I received a notification from Google Play about my MalwareBytes subscription renewal set for 5/26/[redacted]. I ensured that I had enough funds for the renewal on this date. However, this morning I got an email stating that the charge failed due to insufficiency of funds. Upon checking my bank statement, it showed that Google Play deducted the payment on 5/25/[redacted], a day before the agreed-upon date, causing an overdraft fee. I have evidence from the email specifying the payment date of 5/26/[redacted] and my bank statement indicating the premature deduction on 5/25/[redacted]. This error disrupted my financial situation, and I am struggling to find the correct channel to address this issue with Google Play. Their online options and customer service chat are unhelpful as they don't cater to my specific concern. I seek assistance in rectifying this payment mishap promptly.

My tablet began experiencing issues a few months ago. The battery started draining quickly, randomly turning off, and displaying strange messages like "thank you for your purchase." I already removed all credit cards from my account and disabled Google Play, but somehow, charges are still being made on cards associated with my account that belong to my son and best friend. Even though I haven't added any cards to my account, my son and best friend informed me that their cards are being charged almost daily. Despite removing all credit cards and disabling Google Play, unauthorized charges continue to occur. I am dealing with a terminal illness and find solace in playing Fishdom to cope with stress and anxiety. I don't make in-app purchases, yet new levels keep appearing, causing these unauthorized charges. Upon reviewing my emails, I discovered charges that were not authorized. I don't understand how these charges are going through with Google Play disabled and all cards removed. I am seeking refunds for these unauthorized charges promptly and guidance on preventing any future charges. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

I am experiencing issues with the Fishdom game on my tablet. It seems to be glitching and charging my credit cards without my knowledge. The game freezes my tablet, turns it off, and drains the battery. Although my Google Play account is disabled and all credit cards have been removed, charges are still being applied to them. After regaining access to my email account, I noticed these unauthorized charges occurring almost daily. I am requesting a refund for all charges made since the beginning of the year, which started a few months prior. My son initially set up the tablet for me about a year and a half ago, and these charges are not authorized by me but belong to my son and a friend. Due to battling a terminal illness, I use the game for stress relief and not for making purchases. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

My 6-year-old son made purchases on his tablet without my approval. I had a password in place for app add-ons, but it now has a one-tap method linking to my EE mobile account, leading to multiple purchases since April. With over £[redacted] spent unknowingly, it's evident it was a mistake. Google Play won't refund citing policy restrictions. I followed the necessary security measures, and the purchases are undoubtedly unintended. I am requesting a refund.

Hello, My name is Yolanda Bledsoe. In November [redacted], I downloaded an app from the Google Play Store and was offered a three-day trial. Dissatisfied with the service, I attempted to cancel the next day but could not find the cancellation page. Despite confirming the option to cancel, I was unable to locate it. I reached out via email to the individual on Google Play requesting cancellation, but have since been billed quarterly, with the latest charge in April [redacted]. I would also like my card removed from Google. I am seeking a resolution to this matter and a refund to my account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Yolanda Bledsoe

I encountered an issue with an online purchase paid for through PayPal. I contacted what I believed to be a PayPal customer service number, only to suspect it was a scam. The person claimed my account was blocked and instructed me to buy Google Play cards from Walmart and Amazon to resolve the issue. Although Walmart canceled one order, the others were processed. They assured me the funds wouldn't be deducted from my account. The individual requested a $[redacted] Google Play card to credit my account with $[redacted], which made me realize it was a scam. I declined and didn't provide any card details. Can someone assist me in obtaining a refund for the Google Play cards as I have no use for them?

I recently received an unsolicited phone call from an individual claiming to be from Amazon, stating that my wife's account, as well as her PayPal and Gmail accounts, were compromised. During June 8 and 9, I complied with purchasing $[redacted] worth of Google Pay cards as advised by the caller to encrypt the accounts and their associated passwords. After realizing Amazon does not make such calls, I terminated further communication. I contacted Chase Bank and American Express, but unfortunately, the funds cannot be recovered since I voluntarily bought the cards from Kroger. I did not provide the caller access to my computer or bank accounts. Despite cancelling one card with Chase, I am exploring potential options by contacting Google Pay to trace the individuals who redeemed the cards. The caller went by the names "Alex Ross" and "Supervisor Josh Peter," providing contact numbers and Amazon employee numbers.

I accidentally used Amazon Pay instead of Jio app to recharge my phone. Even though I thought the payment would automatically connect to Jio, my number wasn't recharged. Instead, I unintentionally purchased a Google Play recharge code on Amazon, which I don't need. Losing this amount is distressing during the pandemic. I'm seeking a refund or cancelation of the unused recharge code. I'm hopeful for a solution. Thank you.

I have reported the theft to the police but need help recovering my accounts. They have my personal information, photos, and access to my bank accounts through my primary and secondary accounts.

Hello (I hope you can assist me), A payment was processed on May 14, [redacted], for an annual subscription to 1 Tap Receipts for £[redacted].99. This subscription was canceled last year, and we did not authorize this automatic payment taken from our bank account. We communicated that this subscription was no longer needed, as it hasn't been used in the past 18 months. The email used for the purchase was [redacted], and the purchase was made from [redacted], who no longer works here, and that email is no longer valid. Therefore, I am unable to cancel the subscription using my email address, as your system requires the purchase email. I would greatly appreciate prompt assistance with this matter. Best regards, Teresa S. Administrator

I purchased two Google Play cards at Food Land in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada on June 15, [redacted], as a gift. I brought them to Toronto, but they could not be redeemed due to insufficient information. When I returned to the store, they confirmed the purchase in their records. Each card was $50, with numbers [redacted][redacted]1 and [redacted][redacted]78. I am seeking a refund or replacement cards. Brad at Food Land mentioned it is Google Play's responsibility. I am feeling frustrated with the lack of assistance. The cards did not have an approval code on the printout or when scanned. Could you check the gift card balance to see if it shows zero? I hope for a swift resolution before the recipient's birthday. Thank you, Doug.

I have been charged $7.48 for the past three months. I have had a terrible time using the system and attempting to change my personal information, which failed three times. I am currently on the phone with Intuit to have my payment deposited, a task that your service apparently couldn't manage, yet you still charged my account. I was only successful in using QuickBooks once to accept a payment, which I now cannot access. I do not wish to continue with your service and demand a full refund for all three months. You can verify in my account that this was the only transaction processed through your system. It is unacceptable to pay for such a frustrating experience. The fact that I had to contact Intuit directly to have the funds deposited, while still being charged by you, is unacceptable. I am confident that the legal system would support my position.
