I'm considering buying a Google Wi-Fi router with two Points. I need to be able to make phone calls through voice commands in urgent or emergency situations. Everything I've read so far indicates that I can't call [redacted] this way. Furthermore, I'm concerned that if I try to call a contact from my phone's Contact List, it won't display my identity. I can't risk an important phone call showing up as "anonymous" or "private" because it might not be taken seriously. Not being able to reach [redacted] could have severe consequences. Some people have mentioned that adapting the Google Points could solve these problems while still allowing me to listen to what's playing at the moment. Please advise me on whether I should proceed with this option or suggest an alternative that meets my requirements. I use an Android phone but have disabled Google's tracking feature due to security concerns.

I was given a Nest Learning Thermostat as a gift last Christmas, bought from Costco in late November [redacted]. The device was functional for around 4 months before requiring a recharge. The battery life has deteriorated over [redacted], now needing weekly recharging after only 10 months of use. I suspect an issue with the internal battery, possibly a common one. I am seeking guidance regarding this matter. Is the product currently covered by warranty? I feel entitled to a replacement from the company.

I have successfully connected my Nest thermostat to my device. I've followed the instructions on the thermostat and in the app accurately. I have an electric underfloor heating system that uses warm water. I'm facing an issue where the combi device only operates for 2 or 3 degrees when the thermostat turns it on. After a short while, the combi turns off the heating, it stops heating, but the system continues to work. The Nest thermostat still shows that it's attempting to heat.

I recently bought a doorbell for security purposes. However, after a few days, I realized I couldn't access the history feature without paying for a subscription. It's frustrating because I own the device, it's on my property, connected to my phone and Wi-Fi, yet I'm being asked to pay extra for footage from my own home. This policy seems unreasonable, especially when other companies like Ring and Blink don't have similar restrictions. I wish I had known about this before making the purchase, and I am considering returning both my nest thermostat and doorbell due to this issue. Thank you.

My furnace has been acting up, turning on sporadically while the A/C works perfectly. The Nest thermostat displays orange, indicating it should be on, but it's still cold at 66 degrees when set to 70. I have the Nest model # Display-3.4 with software Version 6.2-22. I've attempted solutions like resetting the breaker and cycling the system with the Nest unit to no avail.

I have adjusted my thermostat to a specific temperature setting, but the heat only runs for approximately 5 minutes before turning off. Despite trying different settings like eco mode, home/away assist, lock temperature, and even performing a factory reset on my device, the issue persists. I have exhausted all troubleshooting options both on the thermostat and through the Nest App. Occasionally, the heat remains on for slightly longer than 5 minutes but consistently fails to reach the desired temperature before shutting off again. To work around this, I have to constantly adjust the thermostat by lowering the selected temperature below the current reading and then raising it back up to restart the heating cycle. This manual intervention is required every 5 minutes to maintain the heat.

I've been subscribed to Nest Aware for almost two years. Today, when I tried to access my Nest doorbell activity, it said I don't have an account. My account is registered under the email [redacted] and I can provide documentation. I managed to make it work on my husband's phone using the Google Home app, but I'm the main user of Nest as I prefer their doorbell cam software. How can I resolve this issue? Additionally, I'd like to know how to make the doorbell ring play on my husband's phone through the Google Home app.

I have Nest Aware Plus for two front cameras through the Nest App. recently, I added a Nest Floodlight Camera to the Google Home App as it cannot be on the Nest App. Both apps are under the same Google account. I am unable to link the new camera to Nest Aware Plus and only receive 3 hours of events without 24/7 recording. Nest mentions that multiple cameras can be included in the same Nest Aware Plus subscription. How can I connect these three cameras to my Nest Aware Plus account?

I've been trying to contact customer service, and I've had three call disconnections with Jen. I am currently speaking with Miguel and hoping for assistance. Upon returning from a 5-day trip, my house was below 40 degrees. I reached out yesterday and a helpful male rep assisted me. Today, facing similar issues, I tried calling three times. Unfortunately, Jen hung up on me each time I called. Miguel has been very helpful and is guiding me through troubleshooting steps. This is my second Google Nest in under a year, and I am considering reverting to a traditional dial thermostat due to these experiences.

I recently encountered an issue with my Nest Thermostat not connecting to the smart phone app due to a Wi-Fi error Nest.com/W5 error. Despite troubleshooting by rebooting my router, checking other connected devices, resetting the thermostat, and verifying voltage on the batteries and the "C" wire connection, the thermostat still could not detect any Wi-Fi networks. Even after trying a factory reset, the problem persists. I have attempted various solutions found online without success. What should be my next course of action?

I purchased a defective dropcam and need a replacement. I provided the receipt, but the customer service representative couldn't see the year on it to process an exchange or refund based on the warranty. The sales rep refused to assist without a visible year on their own receipt. This issue is still unresolved and unsatisfactory.

I own a house in AZ and a house in MN. In Arizona, I will soon install a free Nest thermostat from Arizona Public Service. I am considering a smart thermostat for my Minnesota house but am unsure whether to choose Nest or Honeywell. Would it be best to have a Nest in AZ and a Honeywell in MN for simplicity and ease of use? Can a Nest thermostat be used in two different homes, and how does the Nest system manage this situation?

I've been using Nest temperature sensors for years. A couple of months ago, the batteries failed. I replaced them with new ones and made sure they were fully charged. I tried to add them to link with the Learning Thermostat, but when I test the connection, it fails. This issue occurred with 2 out of the 3 sensors. I have attempted removing them from Nest and re-adding them, but the problem persists. Even when I place them next to the Thermostat and phone, the connection test still fails. I'd really appreciate some assistance with this problem.

I recently upgraded my Wi-Fi system to 3 Google Nest mesh routers, replacing my Apple Extreme Routers. I connected my Nest devices like the thermostat, three Protects, Ring doorbell, and Rachio sprinkler with the Google Home App. Had to contact support to set up the Nest Protects properly due to QR code issues, spending time to get them online. Also had to reconnect the Ring doorbell physically. After transferring to a new iPhone, I found the Google Home App did not save my devices except the Nest Thermostat. Despite unplugging, the app still doesn't recognize the routers. I am looking for a solution to make the App recognize my devices without having to reset or reinstall everything or consider alternative 3rd party apps for managing my Wi-Fi network.

I encountered an issue during the initial installation of my Nest thermostat. Google mistakenly sent a back plate instead of the face plate replacement I needed after I reported the fault. Upon their instruction, I returned the incorrect item but was worried about potential charges if I didn't return the original faulty face plate promptly. Despite their assurance, I was still charged for the delay. Currently, I am awaiting the correct face plate to be sent. When contacting them, I was informed that my case is under Dani's care, and they advised me to email her for updates. Regrettably, I have reached out to Dani three times via email without any response. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter promptly.

While my camera works fine at home, every time I'm away on vacation or someone approaches the door, it kicks me out of the account. I end up having to re-sign in, losing important footage like someone pulling on my door handle. Today, I tried to access the account while away from home, but it's no longer connected to the wifi. This situation is incredibly frustrating. Even cameras from the nineteen sixties work better than this Nest camera. I've invested my hard-earned money into this system and it's failing me when I need it the most. This is unacceptable.

My daughter was misled by your website, stating that the doorbell camera installation would cost $99. She contacted Matthew Morris from Sirron Wiring at [redacted] in Stettler Alberta, the only installer listed. He attempted and failed the installation, confirming it was a faulty doorbell. Upon return, he mistakenly provided the wrong serial number to you, resulting in a charge of $[redacted].95. Dealing with this on her days off caused unnecessary stress. When Matthew returned, he initially mentioned a bill of $[redacted]+ tax, but after completing the installation, he charged $[redacted], despite agreeing not to charge for the install. This experience was disappointing and frustrating, as we would have done it ourselves if it weren't for the advertised $99 installation offer. I await a prompt response to address this issue. My name is Connie M., reachable at [redacted] or [redacted] I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with a live representative. Thank you.

I used Nest devices my son bought for a Washington Street apartment in San Francisco and paid the monitoring fee for years. After moving out in [redacted], I still saw a $50 yearly charge on my account. Despite trying to stop the charge with my credit card company for two years, it hasn't worked. I have a longstanding relationship with Visa and need this resolved. If the charge isn't removed and refunded, I'll have to take further steps. The account was under David Schulte at [redacted] Washington St #5, San Francisco, CA [redacted]. I now live at [redacted] Andalucia LN, Brentwood, CA [redacted] and no longer use Nest devices. Please address this personally and review the account activity up to [redacted]. Thank you, David Schulte

For over a month and a half now, my Google Nest Wifi Pro has been acting up. It disconnects randomly throughout the day and night. Initially, it worked perfectly after installation for about a month, but then the disconnections started without any apparent cause. Despite trying various solutions shared on the forum, they only provide temporary relief before the problem recurs. I'm at a loss for what to do next. Given that I rely on several Google products throughout my house, I had hoped that investing in the Google Wifi Pro would effectively extend the Wifi coverage for all my devices. Unfortunately, this hasn't been the case for me, and it's frustrating to exhaust all suggested solutions without success. I'm in desperate need of assistance.

I am experiencing issues with my thermostat displaying error code W5. After contacting customer service, I was informed that a replacement would be shipped to me. The representative assured me that I could replace the faulty unit with the new one and then return the defective one promptly. I appreciate the understanding that returning the faulty thermostat first would leave me without heat. Reference Number: 0-[redacted][redacted] Thank you, G. J. Email: [redacted] Phone: [redacted]
