When attempting to book a room at Seemson Hotel in Ipoh through Agoda, I encountered an error message prompting me to try again. After a few unsuccessful attempts, Agoda notified me that the room was fully booked. Surprisingly, I received two separate notifications from Agoda charging me double the amount of RM137. Concerned, I contacted the hotel, only to discover they had no record of my booking. I never received any confirmation email either. I am now questioning whether Agoda will refund the duplicate charge on my card. Frustrated and disappointed, I have had to cancel my holiday and return to Penang. I received two notifications from CIMB Bank regarding the charges made by Agoda.

I fell victim to a scam while booking a hotel on www.agoda.com for a stay on June 6th and 7th, [redacted]. The room was confirmed by Goroomgo Lake View Nainital. Upon arrival, we were directed to Lake View Vinayak instead of the correct hotel, causing us wasted time and energy. The room given to us was unpleasantly situated next to the noisy kitchen. After requesting a change, we were relocated to a smaller, windowless room that felt cramped and suffocating. Checking back on the Agoda website, it became evident that we were deceived by Goroomgo Hotel, as the room was originally booked in Hotel Lake View. This experience turned what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation into a stressful and disappointing situation.

We had to travel to Eastland, Texas due to a family bereavement. Whenever we visit family there, we usually stay at La Quinta. I messaged La Quinta to book a room for May 4th-6th, and received a confirmation stating it was booked and charged it to my Marcus Goldman Sachs credit card. The next day, I was informed that we actually didn't have a reservation. Despite not having a reservation, we found out later that our card was still charged $[redacted] or $[redacted] for the 3 nights we couldn't stay. Upon arrival in Eastland, we discovered that La Quinta wasn't even open for business, which was confusing. I've been attempting various ways to get a refund with no success. The hotel made me and my sister feel very unsafe and uncomfortable, prompting us to leave in less than 24 hours. There was a hole behind a moveable painting in the bathroom that seemed suspicious, possibly indicating a camera. Despite taking photos, it was odd that the front desk already knew about it but didn't address it beforehand. The bathroom lights didn't work, forcing us to use a lamp for skincare routines. We avoided using the bathroom entirely due to feeling uneasy about the situation. The overall experience was not worth the money, and the musty smell added to the discomfort. As first-time visitors to Paris, this was deeply disappointing and unsettling. The hotel staff's response to the situation was unsatisfactory, directing me to contact the booking company for assistance. I am seeking a refund because the hotel was not up to par and left us feeling anxious and unsatisfied. It was a distressing experience that I would not wish upon anyone.

I have booked a room for 2 nights at Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka through Agoda. My check-in date was supposed to be on June 10, [redacted], with a check-out on June 12, [redacted]. However, due to my vehicle not being ready, I may need to check in on June 11, [redacted]. I received notification from Agoda that my booking was unsuccessful, yet my credit card was charged. Agoda now states they cannot issue a refund. I made a reservation on May 3, [redacted], for Genting Resort Awana with the following details: Check-in Date: May 7, [redacted], Check-out Date: May 8, [redacted], Name: L.S. P., Payment method: ending in ****[redacted], and Email: [protected]@hotmail.com. Despite not receiving a booking confirmation, I contacted Agoda and received no booking found under my details. Upon Customer Service's call on May 5, [redacted], I was asked for my credit card details, found no booking, and advised to rebook. Later, I noticed a charge of RM [redacted].26 on May 6, [redacted], for the initial booking. Agoda states a booking was found but cannot refund me, citing the hotel's decision. After contacting both Agoda and the hotel, the hotel directed me back to Agoda for the refund due to Agoda's mishandling. The issue arose from Agoda incorrectly stating the booking didn't exist. I recently booked a hotel through Agoda that was misleadingly advertised. Unfortunately, the location is unsafe for solo female travelers. The hotel claims they cannot cancel the booking due to the system, and Agoda lacks an international customer service number for issue resolution. Consequently, my friends and I had to secure a different hotel in a safer area. The hotel is denying my request for a refund. I urgently request Agoda to cancel the reservation. I caution fellow female travelers against booking this hotel through Agoda and intend to leave a Google review to alert others.

Dear Agoda, I wanted to book a flight for today, June 10, [redacted], through Agoda. Unfortunately, after entering my card information and confirming the payment, I received an error message stating the payment failed. Despite trying with different debit cards and flight options, money was deducted from my account for each attempt. I did receive email confirmations for some flights, but I am unsure if they are valid since the initial notification indicated a problem and booking failure. I am seeking assistance with the flight booked under ID [redacted]32 (SGN-HAN at 13:25), while requesting the cancellation and refund of the other flights. As a regular Agoda user, I am disappointed in the current service experience.

Hello, I recently made a hotel reservation in Melbourne but mistakenly booked the wrong date. After realizing this, I contacted the hotel to see if they could modify the booking to June 12-13, willing to pay extra if needed. Unfortunately, they were fully booked but kindly suggested canceling the reservation. As it was non-refundable, they advised going through Agoda for the cancellation, assuring me the refund would be processed. Subject: Refund Request for Defective Chateau de Bourron Transaction To Whom It May Concern, I had made bookings for 14 hotels for a trip to France from May 9th to May 27th, [redacted]. All booking agencies and hotels, except for you and Chateau Hotel de Bourron, confirmed the bookings via email. Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the war in Ukraine, our travel dates were changed to September 22nd to October 9th, [redacted]. We managed to modify all bookings except the one at Chateau Hotel de Bourron as we did not receive any confirmation from you or the hotel. Recently, on May 26th, [redacted], GCS Agoda International Rozelle charged $[redacted].26 without any prior notice or confirmation. When I tried to find details of the booking on your website, there was no information available. I demand a full refund from Agoda due to a lack of communication and responsiveness on the part of both Agoda and Chateau Hotel de Bourron. I had not received any booking number or confirmation email, and my room request was left unaddressed. We contacted Hotel Chateau de Bourron and have made a new booking for October 8th, unaware of the existing booking. They hold you responsible for the lack of communication. I made a hotel reservation at Hotel Vevo Puchong on 04/06/22 for my family from Johor. I paid the room rate online with my credit card. Upon arrival, the staff informed us the room was fully booked, leaving my family stranded during the school holiday with no nearby hotel options. Even though the hotel assured me that Agoda would refund the payment immediately, I have not seen any refund as of today, 13/06/22. This situation not only involves money but has also left me extremely frustrated. There seems to be a clear miscommunication between Agoda and the hotel. If the hotel was fully booked, how could Agoda still be selling rooms online? Overbooking causes significant issues, and resolving them is not as simple as ABC. I have decided to boycott Agoda moving forward since this is not the first time this has happened. A similar incident occurred with my son and his girlfriend in Cameron Highlands, leading them to return to Puchong on the same day due to booking discrepancies. I ask Agoda to provide an explanation for these events and clarify if the refund will be processed automatically since we never checked in at either hotel.

The bed was uncomfortable, the mini-blinds were broken, a towel had a gross lump on it, and the carpet smelled bad in our first room. We were moved to another room for the second night, but the TV didn't work, and my house slippers were left behind in the old room and are now missing. It's our anniversary, and we're very disappointed with the problems at this hotel. We want to cancel and get a refund for Monday 06-13 through Wednesday 06-15. The hotel management at The Lodge of Santa Fe apologized for the issues and won't charge us for leaving early. We'll be checking out first thing on Monday 06-13.

My stay at the Airport Suites in Trinidad for booking [redacted]34 from June 10 to June 12 was disappointing. Late check-in revealed a dilapidated lobby and rooms. The single room lacked windows, had a musty smell, and lacked basic amenities. The offered deluxe room had its own issues, including non-functional A/C and thin walls exposing noise from neighboring rooms. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received during check-in. It took me 3 hours to get checked in due to your agents not providing clear answers, and I was even told at the hotel that I should receive a free night for the inconvenience. Instead, I was only offered a 10% discount for another night and I am unable to speak to supervisors or get a corporate contact for further assistance. This lack of customer service is unacceptable. I believe I am entitled to at least one free night and possibly two given the runaround I experienced. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have to involve my attorney to address the situation. I am unwell and do not have the energy to deal with this for more than an hour.

I registered without using an email address to login and made a payment with a booking ID. My phone was changed, I reinstalled the Agoda app but forgot my old email and password. My booking ID is [redacted]01. I am unsure if I will be charged for a cancellation. My son, who is missing, booked a room on your website with reference number 48. I mistakenly used a different Gmail account for booking. I need assistance in booking a domestic flight without a passport. I am inquiring about the contact number of the property owner. The property has not received payment or a booking confirmation for our stay under a booking reference number. I need to cancel booking ID [redacted]01 as the chosen dates are not suitable and change it to another date. Please verify my Agoda cash back in my account. There seems to be a discrepancy between Agoda stating the property is booked and the property owner claiming availability on the same day. I accidentally clicked the cancellation button.

On arrived at the apartment on June 13, [redacted], at 11 p.m. It was in a state of disrepair with a musty smell, damp carpet, and a bathroom covered in mold. The reservation number was [redacted]11 under the name of ChloƩ M. It was impossible to shower due to the bathroom's condition, with mold everywhere, no hot water, no Wi-Fi, and no staff at reception. The front door was insecure and damaged. Due to these unsanitary conditions, we spent one night, left the keys in the mailbox, and booked another place. We called Agoda for a refund. The reservation confirmation was sent to [redacted]
